Sickness/prax
Team, for those of you still training through City...
There seems to be some serious virus and/or fever type sickness going around. I have been notified by about 10 of you that you (your swimmer) are struggling with this. While we hate for anyone to miss practice, let me be perfectly clear-please do not come to practice sick. It is not good to try to train while trying to recover and heal. Your body can’t do both. It is far better to recover completely than to attempt a workout that doesn’t go well. In addition, we do not want to spread these sick germs and risk others getting sick. We are too close to City for another round of this to spread and have time to recover. Please, in fairness to yourself, and your teammates, treat the swim team like a school sickness policy. Do not come unless you have been fever and/or vomit free for a full 24 hours.
A heads up to let me know you/your child is sick is helpful! But please do not bring them if they have any chance of being sick/still having any chance of sickness remaining.
