Good evening team!  What a great 2 days we've had at the GKAISA City Championship prelims!  We've had a ton of fast times, many best times, broken some records, and some exciting finishes.  We are looking forward to tomorrow's Finals Championship.  We are so proud of how many swimmers made it back to the Finals.  Just a reminder, the top 8 are in the fastest and Final heat, and swimmers placing 9-16th are in the Consolation heat.  Swimmers/Relays who finished 17th and 18th are 1st and 2nd alternates.  They show up in Clerk of Course ready to swim, but won't know until they see if all swimmers in top 16 check in.

Meet starts tomorrow at 9 am.  Our warmups tomorrow are at 8:25.  We believe it is best for the swimmers to warmup.  However, I know some of our swimmers won't swim until much later.  So, we are asking ALL swimmers who will swim in events 1-30: the Mixed Relays, the IM's,  the 1st free event of the day (25 for 10& U and 50 free for 11 &UPs) to plan to be there around 8 am, and ready to warmup at 8:25.  Anyone else may certainly warm up with the team, but IF you don't come to our team warmups, there will be a pool open for warmup/cool down during the Finals.  However, the swimmers will need to plan to do this on their own as the coaches will be watching/helping the swimmers swimming in the Finals.  

Please also be aware, once the meet starts, Coaches do try to check their phones/texts/etc, but if you have a question, you need to plan ahead and understand that we may not be able to respond quickly.

I HIGHLY suggest you go to the GKAISA page and check out info for tomorrow.  They have a timeline posted and they have been fairly accurate so far, and that would help give you ideas for your timing. gkaisa.swimtopia.com 

The following swimmers have qualified for the Championship Finals:  IF your swimmer(s) name is not on this list and you think they should be, text me asap at 207.8878 so I can double check.  Or, if you didn't think they should be on this list, and they are, text me!  It's been a long couple of days with lots of swims, numbers, places, so I could have easily made a mistake!
