Hello Stingrays!

Full speed ahead as our season is in full swing! Thank you all for your help at the Red & Black meet. It takes a village to run a meet and our Stingray family banded together to get it done. Thank you! I am so proud of all of our swimmers. Also, did y'all hear the new Stingray song at the meet?! A special thank you goes out to DJ Flipturn for creating it.

Next weeks schedule:

Monday: Practice as normal (will be done a little early)

5:00 Parent/Swimmer Check-in

5:00-5:30 GCC warm ups

5:30-6:00 Stingray warm ups

6:00 Meet starts

Tuesday: Fun Tuesday 10:00-11:20 10 & under; 11:00-11:55 11 & up

Wednesday: Practice as normal; SMI REGISTRATION DUE

Thursday: Practice as normal

Friday: Practice as normal

Here are a few notes from Gettysview regarding the meet:

Address: 9317 Linksvue Drive, Gettysview subdivision

Parking: The parking lot is located by the pool. There is additional parking in a gravel lot at the tennis courts. If you park on the street, please be sure that you are not blocking a driveway.

Away Team Seating: Visitor seating is located on the grass outside of the pool. We ask that parents bring their own blankets and/or chairs. There is limited shade, so tents are a great idea. Everyone MUST stay off the golf course. It's really tempting for kids to run around on the greens and we kindly ask that you help us strictly enforce this policy.

Facility Details: Our pool: 25 meter pool with 6 lanes, blocks on start end. Depths: 6' start end, 3'6" on finish end. Note: there are permanent ladders in lanes 1 and 6.

Concession Menu: Outside food IS allowed. They will have a buffet available with chicken fingers, hot dogs, burgers, and french fries. The cost is $12 for adults, $9 for ages 4-12, and free for under 4.
