Good evening Ray-Nation!

What a weekend! So many fast swims and best times. I am happy to announce we are SMI League 2 champions! We received another banner to add to our collection. Our Mario Bros. themed coaches tent and costumes also took home the pizza!

Additionally…….for the first time EVER in our 24 year Stingray history, we are OVERALL SMI CHAMPIONS! This is an incredible accomplishment! It was truly a TEAM win, everyone contributed, well done Stingrays. This is a very special achievement for this group of kids and coaches. After the winner was announced, our team got to go down the big slide at the pool as is tradition for the winner of SMI. This weekend was a milestone achievement to go down in the RAY-history books for sure. Go Stingrays! 

This week is our last dual meet of the season. Please RSVP tonight so the coaches can get started on the lineup.

Pelican’s will be making a return to the RAY pool for the last meet of the season. We are all looking forward to those snoballs!

This week’s meet theme is 80’s neon glow party. As is tradition, concluding the last home meet of the season, we will have a dance party and fireworks show on the basketball court. Wear your neon, bring your glow sticks, and be ready to cut a rug on the basketball court. We have much to celebrate this season!

If your child is not attending City Meet, this will be their final week of practice for the season. Please mark your calendars for the end of year party at McFee park on July 23 from 5-8pm. More information will be coming on that. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
