    This week :)

Good afternoon!  What a fun week it's been with your kids as we finalize all our prep for City.  We want to outline how the next few days will look, as there is so much going on and it's about to get a little crazier :)

Wed/Tomorrow: Normal practice schedule and we need ALL the swimmers to come, to their proper age group so we can firm up relay practice.  13-14's will be done and ready to be picked up by 11:40ish. All other groups should finish a little early as well.

Michelle Bell will be handing out City parking passes tomorrow during practice.  Please be sure to find her to get yours.

Thursday: ONLY 11 & Ups will have practice times, and we are adjusting to this:

    Seniors: 8:15-9

    11-12's: 9-9:40

13-14's: 9:40-10:20, and please be ready to pick them up on time as coaches will need to leave to head to UT for 10 & Un day.

Thur 10 & Un PRELIMS: SWSR has the first warmup shift, at 1:00 pm.  We are asking all swimmers to arrive to the SWSR Team Tent around 12:30.  Coaches will lead them into the pool around 12:45, so this will allow time to set up, prep, gets caps, goggles, pictures, etc.  As of right now, the timeline shows us to finish around 7:30, and we usually run behind.  Please be sure your plans allow for this!

Fri 11 & Up Prelims: SWSR has the 2nd warmups, at 7:40 am.  Please have all swimmers to the SWSR team tent by 7:15, ready to go in for warmups.

Saturday FINALS (All Ages): These are tentative, and we won't get final times until Friday night, but as of now, SWSR will need to be there by 7 am for first watmup.

For Prelims sessions: Please be sure to communicate with each of your swimmers relays, work together to be sure you know where each of the relay mates are and when/where you will meet up.  Also, please do not leave the pool without confirming if your swimmer(s) made it into the finals.  If you don't know where to look, or how, ask one of the parents under the team tent.  If you can't find it, reach out to the coaches, but each swimmer needs to know, and each relay needs to communicate with each other so we all come back as we can!

The psych sheet, as well as timelines have been posted on the GKAISA website, if you want to look.    https://gkaisa.swimtopia.com/2023-gkaisa-city-cham...

As a side note, and I know we only have a few practices left, but please talk to your kids about the trash and items being left at the pool, and help with this.  There is also to be no food on the pool deck.  We are having to stay after to clean up soggy food, and today I believe I threw away at least 10 wrappers/half eaten food items under the tree areas.  We need to leave Sugarwood pool and rec areas as well as, or better than we found it, and this is not happening.  Please make sure your kids clean up after themselves.  It's an ant-y, wet, and gross mess by the time we get to it after all practices are over.

Also, please be sure to RSVP for our end of year party if you haven't yet!

Thank you all!  See you in the morning!
