The member teams of GKAISA were recently made aware of anticipated scheduling conflicts for the 2024 season. We will need to look at alternative dates/formats for City Meet. GKAISA has created a survey to get your thoughts before making decisions with regard to next year. Please complete the following survey by Friday, Sept 15:

For your consideration when completing this survey:

1. We do not know how changing the schedule will impact dates for SMI.
2. There is a new pool being constructed in Morristown. This is a potential option for an alternate City Meet location. It will have somewhat adequate space and at least some spectator seating.
3. The last question of the survey allows you to comment for further feedback.

I know this isn’t much information but it is what we have to go on at this time. Coach Jodi will have a meeting with the other League Representatives to discuss the results of the survey. I am hopeful GKAISA will be able to create a plan that will continue to provide a City Meet our kids can participate in. They expect to announce dates/formats at the Fall GKAISA Meeting (date TBA).
