5:15 workers meeting
5:30 meet starts
The following is information from GM to us:
Your team will be located on the far side of our pool, behind the blocks, on a concrete pad. We have some canopy shading on that side, but I would also encourage your team to bring pop-up tents if your families have those.
The golf course is directly behind your tent. There is a grassy area and then the cart path dividing the area. Please help us keep kids off of the golf course portion. We will have a lifeguard stationed out there as well. There is a sandtrap that is close to there that is very attractive to the kids.
We are asking for parents to sit outside of the pool deck again this year to help with the flow of the meet and number of people on deck. Parents can come onto the pool deck to watch their kids races and then we are asking that they leave the deck after the race is over. Otherwise, the deck will be limited to swimmers, coaches, and volunteers. The golf course is asking parents to please not sit on the other side of the cart path on the golf course. Parents can sit near the tent or on the patio, but not on the actual golf course.
Concessions: We have a concession stand on deck that will have typical snack/pool food- drinks, candy, chips, etc. The concession stand is cash only. We will also have 2 food trucks at the meet- A Thai Food Truck (Fried Rice, Noodles) and a BBQ Truck as well as Kona Ice. There should be plenty of food choices!
Parking: We have a paved parking lot in front of our pool. When this overflows, we will have a parking attendant directing cars down a cart path and into the back grassy area behind the parking lot. Cars can also park along the road leading into the club. Our parking attendants will be out there to answer questions and help with direction, but as long as cars are not parked on the actual golf course or blocking any cart paths, it's ok. Please ensure no one parks on the actual golf course.
