What a great first week of swim team! The Ray-engines are firing and ready to roll into week 2.

Monday: practice, Blaze Pizza Night 5-9pm (see attached flyer)

Tuesday: practice

Thursday: practice; SWSR @ WCST see timeline below; team invades Sonic after meet

Friday: Fun Friday schedule

Thursday’s meet: please RSVP today your swimmer as “attending” or “not attending”. This is a crucial step us parents can complete for coaches.

SWSR merchandise is still available! Quantities are limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. Emily Long will bring to practice on Monday orders that haven’t been picked up, new orders, as well as team shirts/caps that haven’t been claimed. Leftover inventory will be for sale as well! 

If we are sold out of something you want, please text Emily at 865-712-8460. We will start a reorder list to see if we have enough interest!

4:45 SWSR swimmer and parent check in

5:00 Whittington Creek Warm up

5:10 Meet volunteer/worker meeting with referee and meet director at scores table (note this is earlier than our home meets)

5:30 Sugarwood Warm up

6:00 Meet starts

FACILITY DETAILS

Address: 1800 Whittington Creek Blvd

Either neighborhood entrance will get you to the pool as the boulevard is a U-shape.

Pool: 25 yards and 6 Lanes

Parking: There is a small parking area at our clubhouse. Parking is permitted on either side, single file along Whittington Creek Boulevard. Parking is prohibited inside the roundabout entrance to the pool and on neighborhood streets. Parking anywhere other than the Boulevard is a safety hazard and will not allow for neighborhood traffic flow.

Seating: Our team uses a tailgate style set up in the parking lot. We plan to have half of the parking lot available for Sugarwood to set up tents and chairs. WCST will be set up in the other half. You can view the pool from the lot. We do not have a ton of shade, so tents are highly encouraged.

Concessions: Our pavilion will be open serving hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks, Gatorade/PowerAde, water, assorted candy and snacks. CASH ONLY!
