SWSR vs BFST - Bennington Farrington Swim Team (TUESDAY)

Swim Meet THEME is SUPER HERO Night. Also use your SWSR CAR FLAGS

5:00 PM SWSR Swimmers to arrive and CHECK-IN.

5:30 PM SWSR Warm-ups..

6:00 PM Swim Meet STARTS.

9:00 PM (or right after completion of swim meet) SWSR invades SONIC to celebrate the Swim Meet.

BFST pool is about 10 miles from Farragut. BFST neighborhood parking is VERY challenging with long walk to pool. Please allow 20-30 minutes drive time and PARKING time to arrive for check-in. The pool address is 8817 Colchester Ridge.

Parking Instructions- Attached is a copy of the parking map for our neighborhood. Please instruct your swim families to adhere to the map, as the police will tow cars not in the designated parking areas.

Concessions – We will have Firehouse subs, both ham and turkey as well as other snacks, candy, fruit, and drinks. We will also have Dippin Dots.

REMEMBER – each family review Coach’s email and reply to her ONLY IF NEEDED about the confirmation of your swimmer(s) participation in BFST SWIM MEET.

REMEMBER – each family MUST review the MEET DIRECTORS email and reply to her if correction is needed regarding your parent volunteer position!!!

PAST WEEK IN REVIEW

Well summer swimming was in full display at last tuesday's meet. Thunder, lightning, rain, meet delays and the unpredictability of the sport we love and know as "SUMMER SWIM TEAM". As expected Parents waited to be informed and once informed the RAYspirit took over and we do what we do and step up, step in and make the best lemonade from the lemons of the evening. The MAFD meet has been rescheduled for TUESDAY July 25, 2017 at MAFD. It was great to see the fun from last tuesdays rain out meet continue at SONIC. The Stingray Nation is RAYawesome MAFD experienced it and repeatly expressed it to me and the coaches. The swim meet will resume at event 24 and if I recall the score after evert 23 was MAFD 120 and SWSR 117, so we need all swimmers that can attend the meet to come(does not matter if swimmer was or was not originally in swim meet). More on this latter in JULY. REMINDER fly those car flags proudly on TUESDAY. last time we swam BFST we won by 3 points. It will be a close meet our teams are very similar. In the end HAVE FUN AND SWIM FAST the rest is icing on the cake.
