TO:  All Parent Meet Workers FROM: Susan Horn (Meet Director for THURSDAY's  Meet v. TV) RE:  Thursday, June 8 Meet v. TV  Parent Sign In:  5 pm TWO PARKING ATTENDANTS ARE NEEDED at 4pm. Please respond if you can help.  If you are not on the Worker Assignments, I need to hear from you as soon as possible.  We cannot run a swim meet without all hands on deck.  A  parent from each family needs to sign in at the Check-in Table at 5pm. On the attached assignments, some people have been added/changed. Please be sure you know your assignment. (Pool set up workers need arrive by 3 pm and Parking attendants need to arrive at 4 pm) ATTACHED are the WORKER ASSIGNMENTS. Hi Parents! I am Susan Horn and I am one of the Meet Director for THURSDAY night's meet. One of our other Meet Directors, Lara Campen, will be on hand at 6pm on Thursday to take over Director duties! If you are new to the swim team, hopefully you'll feel a lot more comfortable after the RED/BLACK meet!   Many work assignments have changed and names have been added.  Please review and let me know if you see issues.  I need TWO Parking Attendants at 4pm.  Please email me if you are available.  If you are in a different position, but available for parking, let me know. Many of you signed up to work Thursday night's meet during registration.  Please remember if you have a swimmer swimming in the meet, one parent needs to be available to work the meet.  We can not run a meet without all hands on deck.  No job is too difficult and there are plenty of seasoned parents available to train you. Please note that we have changed how we are handling concessions, so those positions have been reassigned. The assignments are attached.  If your name is listed on the bottom without a job assignment, please let me know what job interests you.  If you are not assigned, but your child is swimming, I need to hear from you! If you are listed, but your child isn't swimming, please email me right away. ([email protected]) If your child is swimming, but you are not assigned a job, please email me right away with your preference. Reminder: Please direct all worker assignment questions to the Meet Director (not to Chet). A reminder about Parent Assignments: You will receive an email from the Meet Director around a week before the meet or as reasonably possible.  Attached will be a list of the job signups for that meet.  Again, any family with a swimmer at the meet must work at least one shift.  More shifts are optional but appreciated. 1.  Find your name on the sign-up spreadsheet. 2.  If your NAME IS ON THE LIST and your CHILD IS NOT SWIMMING the meet, please email the meet director asap to let her know so she can replace you. 3.  If your NAME IS NOT ON THE LIST and your CHILD IS SWIMMING, please email the meet director asap so you can be placed on an alternate list. 4.  If you want to work an additional shift to fill an open job - God bless you and email the meet director. 5.  Show up on time for your job shift - the meet director's email will tell you when 1st and 2nd shifts should arrive. In regular dual meets against an opponent, we have 2 shifts of workers covering 3 lanes.   On 6/6, all Workers need to arrive & sign in with the Meet Director (small table with a tent) by 5 pm. (If you help with Parking you will need to arrive at 4 pm) For some meets, a few of you may notice that your worker position has changed.  This may happen occasionally so that we can move people around to fill all the positions.  Please let the meet director know if the change is not going to work for you.
