Swim Meet NOT Attending List (Red+Black/Tellico Village)
Below is the list of swimmers that will NOT be attending meets next week. Please review and let me know if you are correctly listed as attending/ not attending. If you are not listed, that means I have you down as ATTENDING and you will be entered in the swim meet. I will also have this list posted on the team board at practice tomorrow if you wish to review it then. Again, this year it is even more critical than ever that you let me know ASAP! With the new computer system, we are trying to have as few mistakes as possible and I want to make sure every swimmer is entered correctly in the meets they want to participate in.

Just as another reminder, Little Rays do not swim in meets. If your child is moved up to their regular "age-group" practice during the week, they are then eligible to swim in the next swim meet so you will need to let me know if they won't be swimming or else they will automatically be entered into events!
Our first "Fun Friday" practice will also be this week! We will be having a lot of fun this year with organized relays and games for all ages. Snacks will also be provided after practice, so it's definitely a day you won't want to miss! This is a great way to close out a successful week of practice and hang out with friends.
Tomorrow during practice and possibly for a short time during Fun Friday, our "meet starter" Stan Brown has volunteered his time to come help the kids practice their starts just like they will be starting during the swim meets. They will get to learn the process of starting a race and get comfortable listening for the "beep" to go off before they start. This is an awesome way for the kids to prepare and for new swimmers not be so intimidated and unsure before their first race at a swim meet. Huge thank you to Mr. Brown for helping us prepare! It is really appreciated!
Let me know if you have any more questions... see you at the pool! :)
Coach Allison
