I am so excited to start the SWSR season!  I am the Meet Director for the Red Black Meet and Lara Campen, Susan Horn, and Louise Povlin will serve as Meet Directors for future meets!

Thank you to everyone who signed up to work the HOME Red Black Meet.  THIS IS A PRACTICE MEET AND IS THE PERFECT TIME TO COME LEARN PARENT JOBS!  You do not need to have done them before - just show up and we will train you!

EVERY FAMILY IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A PARENT WORKING AT LEAST ONE SHIFT AT EACH MEET THAT YOU HAVE A SWIMMER.  THANK YOU, PARENTS, FOR MAKING EVERY MEET HAPPEN!

I have ATTACHED the WorkerAssignments in EXCEL. If you do not see your name on the list and you have swimmer, please reply email to me asap.  Please direct all worker assignment questions to ME - the Meet Director (not to Chet).

Here is how parent worker sign-ups work at every meet:
You will receive an email from the Meet Director around a week before the meet.  Attached will be a list of the job signups for that meet.  Any family with a swimmer at the meet MUST work at least one shift. More shifts are optional but appreciated.
1.  Find your name on the sign-up spreadsheet.
2.  If your NAME IS ON THE LIST and your CHILD IS NOT SWIMMING the meet, please email the meet director asap to let her know so she can replace you.
3.  If your NAME IS NOT ON THE LIST and your CHILD IS SWIMMING, please email the meet director asap so you can be placed in a job.
4.  If you want to work an additional shift to fill an open job - God bless you and email the meet director.
5.  Show up on time for your job shift - the meet director's email will tell you when 1st and 2nd shifts should arrive.
(Sign In immediately with the Meet Director upon arrival - it really helps the meets start on time.)

In regular dual meets against an opponent, we have 2 shifts of workers covering 3 lanes.
For this Red/Black meet we have only ONE shift of workers covering 6 lanes.

On June 5th all Workers need to arrive & sign in with the Meet Director (small table with a tent) by 4:30.
(If you help with Parking you will need to arrive 45 minutes earlier)

For some meets, a few of you may notice that your worker position has changed.  This happens occasionally so that we can move people around to fill all the positions.  Please let the meet director know if the change is not going to work for you.

The Job Descriptions for each position are in the packet you received when you signed up.  Don't worry if you don't know what to do at first.  It's easy to catch on and many veterans around you will help you!!  And this is a practice meet.
And ... your swimmer child appreciates YOU making these meets possible!
