Early and Late Registration is complete and it is very exciting to see how this year’s TEAM is shaping up.  Currently, we have 143 swimmers and 19 NEW families that will be joining the STINGRAY NATION this year.  When you get the chance extend a RAY to the Bryant, Cusick, Dicus, Evans, Haen, Kuhn, Krumm, Lewis, Meredith, Middlebrook, Owen, Phillips, Rector, Roeck, Shattan, Smith, Steill, and White families.  We are grateful these families will be swimming with the RAYS this summer.  Head Coach Ben Whiteside, Assistant Coach Victoria, Assistant Coach Allison and I are reviewing the current roster gender/age groups and it appears we have  good coverage in all gender/age groups.  This is very RAY exciting and personally I want to thank the Stingray Nation for continuing to recruit great families to participate each summer.

There is still time for those families that have not registered their swimmers.  The next opportunity will be at dryland practice on 5/23/16.

Swimmer 2016 TEAM T-shirts will be handed out at the 6/4/16 SWSR mock meet / time trials.  Please NOTE!!!! again this year we will only be ordering T-shirts for the Swimmers and ANY T-Shirts PRE-ORDERED / PRE-PAID.  This means if any parents want T-shirts we must know prior to 5/24/16 when the T-shirt order will be placed.  I hope you got to see this year’s T-shirt example at registration.  Another incredible design by Tami Barrett and the Coaches.  Thanks TEAM

THIS IS FUNDRAISER WEEK

Remember there will be prizes handed out.  One of which being TOP FUNDRAISING swimmer.  The items being sold are

• One dozen fresh donuts $8.00

• One dozen Assorted donuts $9.00

• One dozen donut Certificate $8.00 (this allows customer to go pick up their dozen donuts when they choose, great to give as GIFTS also)

• Krispy Kreme Value Cards $16.00

• 12oz bags of coffee (3 types) - $10.00

The money raised will go towards our team fund raising goals this year which are:

• New STARTING BLOCKS

SELL, SELL, SELL after this week the fundraising will be complete and all attention will be towards the exciting 2016 Stingray Summer Swim Season.

Any new or veteran families wanting to know why we do what we do, please come Monday night 5/23/16 after drylands to hear Coach Ben Whiteside and Chet Carbaugh explain the team structure and expectations.
