Stingray Nation I hope your family misses SWSR as much as SWSR misses you. It has just been a little longer than 30 days since we got together at the End of Year Party hanging out and getting loud as we celebrated the 2015 Rockin Season. If you missed the party please know that your swimmer(s) end of year gifts and the championship T-shirt(s) are at the Carbaugh house for another two weeks before they get stored away for the season. Feel free to stop by and pick up the items. Another Tradition is the viewing of the Year End Video. Another classic production by Mrs. Barrett and the tech team. There are families that traditionally inquire about swimming options for their swimmers during the winter and spring seasons in preparation for the summer swim season. Please know there are many families within SWSR that participate in many different levels of swimming. You are always welcome to call me to review the many options that might interest your swimmer or fit your families lifestyle. There are year-round swim organizations, middle school swim teams, high school swim teams, seasonal swimming typically at the YMCA's and private clinic/classes offered by individuals. Coach Ben, Coach Will, or myself would be glad to review the options with you if needed. I also know that Kim Wiebe another SWSR mom offers competitive swim classes and instruction throughout the year.

Starting Block Update... Good news SWSR has been able to secure 4 used starting blocks from a former GKAISA swim team. We currently are in the process of evaluating the cost to add two more starting blocks and all the other incidentals to make starting blocks a reality for possibly as soon as next years swim season. SWSR may need to do another fund raiser in the fall or request a $20 dollar family donation towards starting blocks to put us were we need to be financially and make the starting blocks a reality.
