SUGARWOOD SMI LEAGUE 2 CHAMPIONS!
Parents, it's hard to believe that we are at our last regular meet of the season. On behalf of the meet directors, thank you for filling in all the worker assignment positions and contributing to our successful winning season. We have just a few positions to fill for this week's meet.
Two Parking Workers arriving by 4:00
Gatekeeper 2nd shift by the Ready Bench
Concessions Alternate 2nd shift
Alternates, first shift workers and second shift workers, if you are present, there is a meeting at 5:45 for all workers by the scorers tent. If you are on the worker assignment list and are unable to fulfill your assignment, please contact me asap so that I can find a replacement.

Here are a few things to remember about Worker Assignments:
~ Always check to see if your family's name is listed, even if you'll be out of town!
If your name is listed and your child is not swimming, please email the meet director as soon as possible so a replacement may be found.
~ Please direct all worker assignment questions to the Meet Director (not to Chet).
~ All Workers (both shifts) need to arrive & sign in with the Meet Director at our tent by 5:30. If you are 2nd shift and will arrive after the meet begins, please check in with the meet director upon arrival.
~ We have 2 shifts of workers covering 3 lanes. The shift change will occur around event 35. If you are scheduled to work the 2nd shift, please make your way to the SWSR tent around event 32 or 33 to be sure we are ready by event 35.
Here is how parent worker sign-ups work:
Any family with a swimmer at the meet must work at least one shift. More shifts are optional but appreciated.
1. Find your name on the sign-up spreadsheet.
2. If your NAME IS ON THE LIST and your CHILD IS NOT SWIMMING the meet, please email the meet director asap to let her know so she can replace you.
3. If your NAME IS NOT ON THE LIST and your CHILD IS SWIMMING, please email the meet director asap so you can be placed in a job. If there is no job available you will placed on the alternate list, in the case that a family drops out at the last minute, we will pull someone from the alternate list to work.
4. If you want to work an additional shift to fill an open job - God bless you and email the meet director.
5. Show up on time for your job shift - preferably all parents should arrive by 5:30 pm and check in with the meet director, but if you are scheduled for the second shift, please check in with the meet director as soon as you arrive.
(Sign In immediately with the Meet Director upon arrival, EVEN IF YOU ARE AN ALTERNATE - it really helps the meets start on time.)
