SWSR vs BFST - Bennington Farrington Swim Team swim meet timetable(THURSDAY)

Swim Meet THEME is SUPERHERO.

5:00 PM SWSR Swimmers to arrive and CHECK-IN.

5:30 PM SWSR Warm-ups..

6:00 PM Swim Meet STARTS.

9:00 PM (or right after completion of swim meet) SWSR invades SONIC to celebrate the Swim Meet.

Bennington-Farrington Subdivision if off Ebenezer Road.   Ebenezer runs from Kingston Pike to Northshore drive EAST of Pellissippi Parkway. The pool address is 8817 Colchester Ridge Rd, Knoxville, TN 37922.  There is parking on the subdivision streets.  You may be parking far away from the pool so plan accordingly.

REMEMBER – each family review Coach’s email and reply to him ONLY IF NEEDED about the confirmation of your swimmer(s) participation in BFST SWIM MEET

REMEMBER – each family MUST review the MEET DIRECTORS email and reply to them if correction is needed regarding your parent volunteer position!!!

LAST WEEKS RECAP.

What a week.  Two Swim Meets and a Parade.  Threat of Rain All week at each Ray event, but Stingray Nation persevered and completed each in ROCKIN RAY style.  Thanks to all the swimmers and parents that participated this past week, we needed EVERYONE to make it thru.   The SAC meet was a great meet to highlight that EVERY swimmer is critical in a Dual Meet.  SWSR was losing the entire swim meet until event 66 (there are 70 events).  As they always say it is not over until it is over.  A lot of critical hard fought swims and some well done coaching strategy helped to secure the win in the end.   As for the JCSC rescheduled swim meet the sky parted for a beautiful evening for a swim meet on what initially looked like a rain washout kinda meet.  Great swims throughout the swim meet and the SWSR dominance shined thru all evening.  Thanks again as SWSR is ROCKIN the RAY water this season.  The Parade had a great turnout of SWSR swimmers again this year.  We ate donuts and the senior age swimmers did the ANTI-RAIN dance in the back of the Black Widow Truck to fend off the RAIN.  Again SWSR confirmed to all that having FUN and SWIMMING can be done at the same time.
