Hello Stingray Nation!

Due to the success of our first Saturday clinic, I will be offering another clinic this Saturday, June 20th, at the Sugarwood pool. Like last week, the cost will be $10 per swimmer. Unlike last week, I will be offering three separate clinics on the same day. There is limited space, so let me know ASAP if you would like to reserve a spot.

Session One (8:15-9:00 AM)-Starts

This session will focus on everything incorporated at the beginning of a race including: race preparation, dive training, underwater work, and breakouts. 

Session Two (9:05-9:50 AM)-Open Turns/IM Transitions

This session will focus on the open turn used in butterfly and breaststroke races as well as the transition turns in the 100 and 200 yard individual medley. I recommend this session to swimmers who are 11 and older or those 10 and under swimmers who swim (or would like to swim) the IM races at meets.

Session Three (9:55-10:40 AM)-Flip Turns

This session will focus on the flip turn used in our freestyle and backstroke races as well as underwaters, breakouts, and finishes. I recommend this session to swimmers who are 11 and older or for those 10 and under swimmers who have an interest in swimming the 50 yard freestyle at the SMI or City Meet.

Swimmers may sign up for one, two, or all three of the sessions if they would like. Let me know if you have any questions or would like to reserve a spot.
